Maria and Craig are professional hosts among other things. They have been together for over 22 years and married for 16 years. They have two wonderful, creative and independent-minded children; Blake 13 and Sophia 10.

Maria has been involved in party planning and the restaurant business for more than two decades. As a restaurant owner, Maria and her family owned the infamous Jimmy’s restaurant (for over 25 years) located in Spanish Harlem.  Maria is still known as a heck of a cook specializing in Latin and Southern cuisine.

A former banking assistant for the now defunked Lehman Brothers, today Maria enjoys life as a New York City Union Carpenter with Local #608. It appears as long as there is a forum to create and bring people together, Maria is there.

Craig has been involved in the New York public school system for 11 years as an educator and filmmaker. A recent Business School graduate, Craig has been involved in property management since the age of 6. He worked along side his grandmother as she managed her property. It was in watching her he learned the golden rules of the business. Today Craig is an established business consultant and very much still involved in property management.

Together they combine their diverse backgrounds to bring you a unique vacation-rental experience. "We do it because we love our city, we love to see happy guests and because we love a great experience when we travel too. Which is why we remain fiercely independent. In other words, we will not allow advertisers or outsiders to compromise our unbiased objectivity!"
